Collapsible Gifs

The ability to hide gifs once they're posted in a channel would be a huge QOL fix for the discord I am apart of. As it is now, if you post a gif you have to just watch it over and over until the chat moves up.

  This!  I like having discord open when I work, but inevitably someone posts a gif that plays over and over and distracts me.

  Discord settings --> Text & Images --> Automatically play GIFs when Discord is focused

  This should help you. Maybe it's not exactly what you want but it does stop GIFs from auto playing over and over.

  Need this for mobile as well.
  In general, vomit gifs are annoying.

  This would still be one of the biggest QOL additions to Discord. It's nice that they stop looping when the window isn't focused, but it's still a ton of clutter.
