Custom "Away Status"

Teamspeak has an "Away status" feature which let's you customize a little message next to your username stating why you're AFK. Discord could use this feature to let people know just how busy you really are, and why you're not answering their DMs, responding to their message tag or taking the call.

    I was going to make a post for this but found this topic.

    I grew up using AIM and, granted this was pre-smart phone, it was nice to just glance and see that a friend was away but they'd be back from class to chat at x o'clock.

    Necessary? Not at all! But I think it would be fun and Bnet has a similar status thingy right now.

    This is a great idea. Often times I wish had bot away messages for dms so this would fulfill that need.

    I would love to just set a custom status for both away and online personally.

    I think this is might be in an early testing phase, there was one server I was in that had a button that said "set a custom status" that showed up above where you would set yourself as online, idle etc. It's since been removed so I don't have a picture, but I do think they are working on this!
