Audio Emotes

So while the current emote system works well, sometimes if you want to use a humorous reaction, a little image simply will not do. Sometimes there are classic short sound bites that we would love to have at our disposal, but we have to find it online and repost it every time we want to use it.

What if, in addition to standard emotes, we could also have a selection of short, audio-based reactions to use?

Thoughts?

  I agree. Implement a way to activate the sound. Either by a 3-4 second hold/click on various emotes.. or a menu selection added to the info menu of who placed the emote on the post. This of course means that the emote will have to store the audio data with it. Or have it stored somewhere else and linked to certain emotes. Then users can receive/select the audio clip along with the visual que of the emote.
  Your idea would put Discord a step ahead of its competition. Great idea The Pope!!
