Blocking communication with friends without removing them from friends list

Blocking communication with friends without removing them from friends list is something I miss in Discord. It would be great, if to block someone you wouldn't have to as well remove him from your list of friends. For example - You and your friend had a serious argument, after which you don't feel like talking to each other too much, even in one word, for an indefinite period of time. But still, you are friends who would like to talk to each other again after a while. In this case it would be pointless to block a friend, which also means to remove him/her.
