Channel hiding

There should be a way to hide a channel without muting it, so I can see the ones use a lot but only see the others when there's new messages

  I want to hide #nsfw and i want to mute #bot/spam channel because i dont want to ever see or use nsfw but i do use bot/spam.

  I can hide muted channels and groups but like other posters, I also want hiding to be independent of muting.

  Also, as far as I can tell, hiding a group of channels doesn't hide them at all! I can still see, expand and collapse a hidden group, and I can still see, read and post into the channels within it. The channels in a muted group don't actually disappear from the interface unless I hide each one separately, which completely negates the point of muting/hiding the group!
