Do not delete unsent messages in Private Chats

So I know this seems more like a request, but the way my girlfriend uses her messaging app is write a bunch of little messages throughout the day about what she has seen, and things that she is doing.

Unfortunately she goes out of the country doing field research for her grad studies, and she isn't always connected to the net. When she tries to send a message and if fails, the application will automatically delete the message after some time, and she will be unable to communicate the way she likes to with me when she is out of cell range.

I ask specifically that Discord enables a way to not automatically delete unsent messages, and maybe add that as something that you can toggle or change?
