The banner color darkening

Hello, we've been trying out a few art works to put on our banner (/r/LeagueOfLegends) and we noticed that darkening effect limits us in the ability to use art works that have dark colors. 

We would appreciate if there would be more options to the color grading so we can consider more options to the type of art work and the we can use for the banners.
