JFIF preview support
It's just jpeg files at the end, changing the extension directly actually works.
I think it might be great to enable previews for those images, like, simply make Discord understand that it's just jpeg files.

Yeah. It's annoying to have to rename/convert pictures now just to upload them on Discord.

jfif is becoming more and more common as the default extension on google, and it is a pain to need to keep checking extensions before sharing a file.

found a bunch of images on duckduckgo turns out they were all jfif files :| would love for jfif to be implemented

I've lost track of the number of times that I've uploaded a jfif, had to expel a four-letter word while deleting the upload, open explorer, change the extension, then go re-upload. Considering it's not even a codec issue, should be an easy add.

iTzFunny JFIF files aren't PNG files though, they're JPEG files (The "J" in JFIF literally stands for "JPEG" in JPEG File Interchange Format). You don't have to convert them at all. Just change the file extension.
But yeah, 2 years and still no JFIF (nor HEIC/HEIF) support... :\0 -
It's highkey dumb that discord doesn't look the header rather than the extension. I mean linux itself solved this DECADES AGO
