How do I turn off location verification?

I need to turn it off, it's so annoying. There needs to be a way for it to be turned off. I use my mobile data regularly and it changes the location all the time, each time I have to login to my email & verify which wastes time.

Location verification should be optional.

    I also have to keep verifying my location. I use a VPN and it is the location of the VPN server, not my location they are determining.

    to the people down voting keith's request, what do you lose from someone somewhere being less annoyed by their discord? if you're such a security freak use 2FA, or simply don't turn off location verification should you see the option to do so in the user setting

    Agreed, why can't we have the option to disable it?

    I have absolutely no problem with this being on by default, but we should have the choice.

    Absolutely this. It's so annoying. I log in at work all the time. Recently I've been able to manage this useless new location junk because I've been able to have my phone on me but when they remove our ability to have our phones again I won't be able to log in anymore because I can't get to my phone to verify. This is fine as an OPTIONAL FEATURE but they shouldn't force it. I don't have 2FA on for a reason. But this kind of kills the whole purpose for not using it.

    I moved and lost acess to my gmail, so for for a freaking YEAR I have not been able to access my old account and I am terrified for several of my friends or old contacts, in the middle of tons of other stress, make it optional at least
