Full block

I apologize if this proposal has been submitted before, as seems likely. Is it possible or are there perhaps plans to implement a full block option for users? At the moment, the block option only allows you to hide the blocked user's comments with a "BLOCKED MESSAGE" bar (and multiple of these can really clutter up the chat). I also recently discovered that the blocked user can still see your content and have been told it's apparently a feature so that the blocked user doesn't find out if they are blocked. Personally it seems to me to defeat the purpose of blocking as the two users aren't really separated. You are alerted to the person's comments, perhaps more than before with the blocked message bar, while they can still see what you write and be disruptive about it. I would say it's better for the blocked person to perhaps be aware of being blocked (though I doubt they would notice) but being completely separated from the person who blocked them. This method of blocking is, as far as I know, the norm in the online world while the Discord approach is rather unique. I hope the suggestion is of some use and I appreciate any input on it. Thanks!

Maybe when blocking someone it could prompt for the current block system or one where your messages won't show up for them and theirs for you. With a short description of what each does.
