Display chat messages next to each other if there was very little delay between sending them
The idea is to display chat messages that were sent within less than half a second by different users in one line. This would help readers realize that the latter could not have been a response to the former if it's author is a human, and that it in fact is if the author is a bot that is fast enough. Of course this feature would be optional for the PC client as a third variant next to the "Cozy" and "Compact" message display options. The ordering would be in chronological order.
This feature can also help with channels that have a lot of users sending messages at the same time as it slows down the automatic scrolling. It would also feel very unique.
Here's a mockup:

And if one message is a paragraph and the other a single word?
And if you add in latency or clients on devices with vastly different performance, might be more false positive and false negative groupings than helpful ones.
