New Status Designs

Many of my friends and I are quite dissatisfied with the new status designs(the crescent, the donut, etc.). It makes sense to have such options available in colorblind mode, but it’s frustrating when Discord decides to force it onto everyone. We think they’re very unappealing to look at and we’d prefer to go back to the plain circles of color. It also seems entirely unnecessary and an invasion of privacy to automatically show whether someone is on their phone or another device. It’s also a little odd that this feature is only present for people who are online. Please heed our feedback and make these design changes opt-in rather than automatic.

    I fully agree. Had posted something like that a while ago, when first attempts have been made, but looks like the post was deleted.

    Very ugly changes, graphics borders aren't smooth, but rather like 20 years ago, made of single pixels etc.

    Those changes also seem to cause a higher CPU usage, when hovering with the mouse over them (or at least the server button / icons).

    There is absolutely no need to force everyone to use them.
