Ability to provide a reason for deleting a message

If you have ever moderated a discord server, you know that when kicking or banning someone, you can choose to give a reason on why you did. So, I thought it would be cool to be able to provide a reason on deleting messages too! This could also be used by people with the Manage Messages permission or the user who wrote the message alike. And of course, as with the options to write a reason on kicks and bans, it would be optional, so you wouldn't need to always provide a reason.

    Why not just make a channel for mods that you can screen cap or copy text then add comments that way that can also be used with search. Place keywords as well to search faster.

    Yes, brilliant idea !

    I came up with about the same idea, except I wanted it to be implemented with a "Substitute" / "Replace" message option (togglable by role, of course) that would replace the message with the message the substituter sent, signed by the substituter, so admins would be able to replace an offending message by "User was banned/warned for..." message, so there wouldn't be a curious hole in the convo in the form of a deleted message.
