Why not add the "Use ctrl + Enter to send message" item in "text & images"?

Some people may have spent a lot of time on some forums and are more accustomed to using "ctrl + Enter" to send messages.

    I hope commenting here helps resurface this. This is one of those features that exists in every other chat client except discord. Just having the option to use `ctrl + enter` or `cmd + enter` to send a message will help so many programming communities that use discord as a way to talk. Typing out a long message containing code only to accidentally press `enter` instead of `shift + enter` is a nightmare

    Same here.  I've mostly stopped asking people to contact me on Discord because of that.  It is annoying as hell when I hit "Enter" because I want to continue on a new line, but then it gets sent!

    I've moved to Slack, at least they have the option!

    I double the request. Tried Discord several years ago, recently have returned here only to see nothing has changed.

    I mean, come on, even Telegram got significantly better over time with its 'Schedule message' and 'Send without sound' functions. It would be nice seeing something useful like that in Discord, let alone Ctrl + Enter sending.

    Not having an option to send a message with Ctrl + Enter in your app in 2020 is a crime.
