Any progress on this one?

This is a very obnoxious bug.

For me the notifications stay away but the sound keeps going off. Had this today while in a skype call and sharing my screen for my work.

Bump
Same issue here

How has this still not been dealt with? This is incredibly frustrating. I frequently use my laptop for class presentations and video meetings, and I relied on focus assist to prevent notification sounds from disrupting these events -- and yet the discord notification pierces through even when "alarms only" is on! I feel that this didn't used to happen last semester, so did someone at Discord break this?

Bump. Have the same problem.

Bump. Same problem here. Quite annoying, when I want to watch a movie with friends I gotta disable Discord notifications manually instead of turning Focus Assist button on.

Bump, annoying when I need to work.

It's been 2 whole YEARS and discord still hasn't gone about fixing this bug?? Just about every other app that I use obeys Windows 10's focus assist and doesn't make a notification sound when focus assist is enabled. Discord on the other hand, does not show toast notifications but plays a notification sound when messages are received. The only workaround is to enable the do not disturb status on the discord client but this is an extra step and unnecessary imo. Discord, if you're reading this, you should really consider eliminating bugs as common and simple as this before everything else (logo change, design overhaul etc.)

Discord Please fix

It would be great if this was fixed. As it is, I always have to close Discord completely before going into a meeting.

Same issue. But judging by how long it's been, I don't think it's getting fixed anytime soon.
