🇬🇧 better /me || 🇧🇷 /me melhorado
Today, since I believe a lot of people do already know, discord is used to roleplay servers.
In discord, we hava the /me command, that basically makes whatever you write in italic.
Discord describes it as: "giving you text emphasis"
Today, it works like that:

Although, it does not work at mobile and also is not really relevant.
There are people that roleplay in first person and people that roleplay in third person
so, there are some rp groups that does not like the ideia off adding your name before the text
like /me walks become:
John Doe walks.
So, after thinking a little, I believe that this is the better solution:
In Text and Images Settings, we can set it as we want

It would have a /me and /do (descriptions) section

If you selected they, it could happen:

It gives better emphasis and can be to 1st or 3rd person
Also, the /do (descriptions) could be added, just like that, and with the same options of the /me

So, I am not the only one thinking about this
As you can see right there:
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360033359492-Emote-Format-me-?input_string=%2Fme
and other people discussing about it.
I believe that it is not that hard, discord team, could you please add it?

You guys are using /me and not asteriks? I'm a roleplayer and I use the asteriks method all the time since its way easier than saying me.
*(TEXT)* for italics,
**(text)** for bold.
***(text)*** for bold and italics.
_(text)_ for underline.
~~(text)~~ for strikethrough.
You guys could simply just do that.
Mully believes this feedback to be a little bit pointless since you could just add your character's name after the first asterik. He's quite confused. "Or you know, you guys could be semi-literate.."

well, i mean, we already do like that. but if there is the /me cmd and a lot of people are used to other roleplay platforms like skype or samp - those uses /me and /do - why can't it me a lot easier? duh.
