I distinctly remember MSN Messenger having a surprisingly capable drawing tool baked into its chat client, and I had many doodle-conversations with friends in the time I used it. It seems like a more relevant time than ever to spring for that kind of collaborative diagramming potential! There is precedent, and I would love to see this robust chat platform flourish in that way.

An integrated whiteboard would be amazing, particularly for running D&D or other games that involve potential drawing.

Many university students (me included) are turning to Discord rather than GroupMe because it is far more intuitive. I do understand the apprehension of adding a whiteboard feature, though. The developers might feel that adding it would make Discord more of a professional meeting application than a place for gamers to link up. That said, Discord's nesting interface for servers makes switching back and forth between channels and V/C easy. It's a one stop shop for all the class study sessions without having to join a whole new server or creating a zoom meeting room. You guys have already mastered screenshare, so adding a whiteboard feature is the natural next step. Honestly, the less applications I have to keep track of the better it is. And I'm willing to bet that other gamers/students/professionals feel the same way. What I'm really saying is, PLEASE SAVE US FROM ZOOM! <3
