There is a badge for developing a bot but there isnt for developing a game ..
In my opinion there should be a badge for being a game developer on discord too ... there was one for being a verified bot developer which was easy to get .. perhaps making a game is more difficult and the amount of games on discord are very very low .. this would encourage people to actually upload their games on discord... I think this is a perfect Idea as we are paying 25$ to discord to submit the game and we are not getting any special perks for doing that.

The special perk is, you get to have discord.gift links once your game gets verified, I don't see the need of the idea of having a game badge as when your in the bot side, its free. and discord recognizes that by giving you a badge. Basically what you're saying is that because you've paid $25 dollars, you get a badge. Even after its verified I don't find a use for this badge.

the badge is all gone now tho, and I'm pretty sure when the verified dev badge used to be there, it was also for games!

I totally agree, I mean it is difficult to please everyone but at the same time you guys have to understand that not many people are out and about developing games. I would even go as far as to say that the majority of users who buy the developer license don't use it for the "intended" uses. Maybe one day there will be better benchmarks for all the badges and some more unique and fun ones.

Diglett ik that we get access to gifts once we get approved but perhaps having a badge will encourage ppl to submit their games on discord, I mean people dont even know that you can upload the games .. games are underrated on discord whereas everyone knows about bots..
