Rejoined server I Left

So I left a server about 2 weeks ago Aug 16 when I woke up today September 1, I went on discord and the server I left was there on my list and when I went to see what time I joined (you know when you join a server for the bot says that welcome user) so ya I looked at the timestamp it said 9:03am, I was really confused at this because for one thing I was asleep from 4am till 1pm, so like I'm really confused how can I rejoin a server when I was asleep and I didn't even want to join the server again so I left it again and checked to see someone sent me a invite, no one did. So my question to everyone is has this happened to you and will it keep happening?

    This sounds like a bug. You may contact discord and submit a bug report via https://dis.gd/support . I am sorry to hear you encounter this bug. Maybe signing out, and back into your account will help.

    I asked my friend about this, this is what I said I wonder if it was something to do with me having link with patron and discord, that patron bot noticed I wasn't apart of the server and forced joined me, He told me this might be the case because the 1st of the month patron rechecks all patrons and charges everyone on the 1st of the month. Which in my opinion makes sense cause when you link accounts, one permission is to join servers, so the bot noticed I wasn't apart of the server and had me Join it. I will keep this post up to help other people who might have come across this and are seeking answers.

    Just came to say thanks BlackLotusChi for updating this post with your findings! Not many do.

    Today I was helped by it. I had the same issue - suddenly I was back in a server I had left. It's indeed a patron server and as today is the first of the month, your post explains perfectly what happened. Mystery solved!

    Glad this was helpful to you, make sure you un-link your patron account on discord and un-link your discord account on patron, if you only un-linked on one site, you will still be put into a server. I hope this information is clear enough to also help people.

    This is a hack. It has happened to me every day. I left the server at night ad after waking up I see I joined the server at midnight when I was sleeping

    Do you have any website linked to your discord or discord linked to any website, if you do the discord server you keep getting pulled into may have a bot that drags you into that server, discord bots if given permission, will have you join servers that you may have subscription to for example Twitch sub, patron sub, or anything that you pay for a month that has a sub, one benefit for those would be a vip discord role. In my case 9 months ago I paid for a sub on patron in which one benefit for the subscription gave my a special role in a server and since I linked my patron on discord and discord on patron I was put into the server every 1st of the month. To fix that I unlinked the accounts on both websites, I hope this helps

    how do I join back a server that I accidently left... I don’t have anyone I can reach out to for invite link, I can’t find the link (on youtube)

    To re-join a server you would have to be invited back, since you don't know anyone from the server to reach out to the only thing I can think of is if you remember any member of that server that is in a mutual server that you are still in or if you dm one of the members in the past you can message them that you accidentally left and see if they can provide a invite link. Unfortunately if you don't have any way to contact any of the members and don't know where the invite link is on YouTube, you won't be able to rejoin. (If you were watching a streamer and it was their server you can pop in their chat and ask for it)
