Disabling notifications on mobile automatically when Do Not Disturb is activated on the account.
When Do Not Disturb is activated on a computer, like literally every other similar notification behaviour feature in discord, you would expect it to also prevent notifications from appearing on mobile devices, as it is an account-wide setting, that can be enabled from mobile platforms, and has no clear indication that it would do anything else. Yet, you still receive such notifications, effectively defeating the entire purpose of the mode if you have a single mobile device near you with notifications active. When I tweeted this problem to Discord, they suggested toggleing the notifications in your user account settings manually, for each mobile device you have, every time you enter/exit Do Not Disturb. This solution is simply a workaround, akin to turning off the circuit breaker to all your household lights because you couldnt afford light switches in each room.
As a solution, I propose a simple variable check that ensures that notifications arent pushed if Do Not Disturb is active on the account, and maybe even a new setting, underneath "Get notifications outside of Discord" that toggles whether or not you want to receive push notifications on this mobile device while Do Not Disturb is active. -(The setting is proposed for the case where notifications during DND was a deliberate design choice)
With my limited coding knowledge I can know that such a feature would not cost much time or effort to implement, but would be a great QoL improvement that would make me actually use the feature much more often, instead of when I forget that DND doesnt actually do what most people would want it to.
