Apparently if you drop your Nitro subscription (in my case by accident) for even an hour, your join date resets and there is no way to recover it, as the Discord support staff said.

I think you should be able to get that original date back, especially if you have been subscribed for a long time. That's basically all you have to show for your long-time subscription.
