Private Friends
Incorporate some form of private friendships, something akin to Facebook Messenger instead of the more open Facebook--one of your friends doesn't know the rest of your friends, if you have any, and so on. Therefore, it would be focused on individual relationships instead of a group, in this particular section. Adding this to Discord would enable someone to have both sides of an amazing world format, with both public communities and private, exclusive one-on-one sessions.

the invite friend process for discord is just over complicated and to limited in its ability to invite from other servers to get friends you already or do not know yet
