Discord still deleting text on mobile if 2000 letters are passed

why does discord even let you send the message if the limit is 2k?? if you won't remove that irritating limit if nothing else than for nitro users then at the very least make it impossible to send the message unless the char count falls below 2k! It's incredibly frustrating when you lose that entire block of text just because you added a picture to it.
