Solution to Ghost Pings

Other posts suggested before that you either revoke the notification if the message has been deleted or don't delete the message in recent pings but I think if either of these 2 solutions would be possible, Discord would've already implemented it.

Revoking notifications might just not be possible from a technical side

and not deleting the message might be bad because Discord doesn't store deleted messages and doesn't want deleted messages to be seen.

My solution is that instead of saving the entire message, it should only save the user who wrote the message, allowing the person who was ghost pinged to block the person who ghost pinged them or ask about it.
