I realize this have been brought up before... but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to bring it up again. With crossplay becoming more relevant the necessity for a proper crossplay chat is there. It is very annoying using a secondary device with a headset and a headset from the console or using the game chat. I realize there might be some complications like PlayStation not playing nice since they have their own Party app, but hopefully a console app will be possible 🙏

 

Edit: I asked on Reddit: /PlayStation too... and a smart person pointed out that Sony was hesitant with allowing crossplay to begin with because Sony have a commitment to their player base to ensure a certain comms experience which does make a lot of sense. If this is in fact the reason I do hope a solution is found soon!

    Actually Sony should be ok with it. They get 30% from sales of every game/app which means if you buy nitro from Discord Playstation, some portion of the money will go to Sony for allowing them to keep their app on PS4. I am just commenting so it gets some realization :)
