Remove User ID anonymization
Remove User ID anonymization
Basically, that means that when using <@userid> it should display the user snowflake, like it did before. But a few months ago, it seemed to have changed. It doesn't work anymore like how it did before.
Currently, you can not see the user snowflake if you do not share any server with the user, or if you didn't "cache" the user. Also, if you see the user snowflake though, after using the <@userid>, it doesn't mean that others are able too. This brought issues into moderating and also for bots.
So I am suggesting to remove the anonymization of UserIDs. For security reasons though, I think it can be hard to brute force someones user id, and don't forget that you could still brute force someones discord tag, then add the person through that tag. Then go to the pending list and get the user id from there, so yeah. That's why I think anonymizing UserIDs is not going to help.

If you use a good bot it should be able to fetch a small amount of user data to use, even without having any mutual servers. (I know this is sorta self promotion but, my bot Vega can do this)

If that should be possible, how do you do that with the API? That would be useful, if you could explain it shortly, please.
