Settings reset if discord is logged out of
i sometimes need to log out of discord for pirvacy reasons and its quite annoying having to set everything back.

For clarity's sake, I believe he wants his settings, such as keybinds, muted channels, etc, saved locally when you log out. I sign out of my discord for privacy reasons regularly, and reassigning my keybinds etc is tedious. Thanks!

Skype started doing exact same thing a while ago and it's very annoying, especially if you have a lot to set up every time. It's weird to me that there is no option for this behaviour.

I may not be customizing my settings much -- my push to talk stays properly set, my channels stay active or muted, even though I log out every time I shut down the computer for the night.
What's driving me nuts is the message beep. I am quite able to spot new messages by the little dot that shows up (using Windows desktop app version). I hate that beep so much. So I toggle it off, then when I sign back in I either remember to set it again or I get jolted by beeps when someone chats at me until I can get to the settings page -again-.
I contacted Support and they said it is because the app uses the system cache to know the settings and logging out clears the cache. They said I should "upvote the idea" because feedback really helps them decide on new features. Hopefully this thread counts as that upvote.
Please find a way to preserve customized settings for users of the Windows app when they log out. Thank you.

This happened to me also, I thought it was because I installed the app on mobile while already having the desktop version but after seeing this post, it shed some light on the issue.
Losing all the settings is really annoying on logout.1 -
