    Is it true that an api needs to be made available thru the YouTube/YouTube Music API for this to be added naively like Spotify? 

     

    I've read that PreMiD can handle this, but I'm not sure if that just leverages the browser your in (which I don't want to do, as it requires an extension) rather than directly access the platform's API.

    I'm an only-app user so don't give me extensions, give me this update bc seriously who uses that trash Spotify anymore when yt music is available ?? DON'T discriminate yt users by not showing our current listened

    Discord should really add this, and I think they are considering this because of a new survey they just released. So there could be hope!🤞

    I agree. I recently subscribed to YouTube Music and would be grateful if this status feature was added to Discord.

    Youtube Music should be integrated with Discord just like Spotify.
    I personally prefer Youtube Music because you can listen to a lot more songs (unlicensed songs, remix, etc.) than on Spotify.
    I'm really sure that there are enough people around the world who agree with me.

    Here it would be really cool if you could both see what you're listening to and also have a listening party (listening together) through Discord. -> Exactly like Spotify

    So I support this post and hope that something will be organized between Discord and Google soon.

    The integration of this service? Why not?  Not all people on discord use spotify as his personal music service, I think it will be amazing see people lisening music or postcast on other streming service, i not saying that only for "youtube music" i say for : deezer, soundcloud, iTunes, amazon music, sony
