Direct message notification sound separate from others

Short version, the only sound I want coming from Discord that isn't voice-related to be an audio notification from direct messages. I don't want to have to lose out on the unread messages visual notifier on a server icon to prevent audio spam from them too. Muting channels is obviously not an option, muting categories still shows the unread message indicator on a per-channel basis but not on the server icon. And since you can only watch one channel/server for messages at a time...

    YES! I still can't believe they haven't added this in yet! This would be great for those who are in multiple channels and hate being constantly bombarded with notification noises. I ended up just turning it off a short while after I started using discord, but because of it I constantly miss out on direct messages from friends and family.
