Make it easier to mute people from the entire server (without needing roles)

Please add a feature/button to Mute specific members in chat for a certain amount of time.

This will make it easier for servers who have roles that let only members see the server. Since if one role has a check to read and write in channels then it cannot be overridden.

This is important and essential to some servers, please jump on this asap.

    This feature would make it easier for mods to handle inappropriate conduct. Kicking or banning someone isn't always the best way to handle a situation, for example when it's a long-time member of the server getting drunk and crossing a line for the first time. We don't want them gone, we just need them to cool it for a bit. However, the roles-based way of muting someone is tricky to get right, especially for those who are new to running a server. It kind of undermines mod credibility when we have to choose between a kick (and get criticized for overreacting) and something that only *might* mute the offending user if we configured everything right.
