Document Channels in Discord
Almost every single sever I have been to has rules. However, many messages stringed together were used to write the rules. There are many problems with this. It doesn't look clean. The different user's profile pictures and names show up throughout the rules. Only the user that wrote the rules can edit them. If another admin notices a typo or something in the rules, he has to contact the person that wrote the rules, or delete the message and repost it (which can be a problem if it wasn't the bottom message). If you want to change out the images you used to decorate your rules, you have to delete all your messages and repost them. A new type of channel needs to be created to fix this. It will allow anyone with the permissions you set to type together, making a homepage and rules. It should allow the already existing markdown text editor and include new features like an ordered and unordered list. This feature can also be used in educational settings. If a school classroom that used Discord needed to work on a school document together, everyone can collaborate on Discord instead of using another platform. They should also be able to be exported to a file.
