Chrome for IOS not opening discord but discord’s app store page

When i click on an invite link in Chrome for iOS (iOS 14 but happened on 13 as well) i get prompted to open discord in a seperate tab and then a prompt, when i tap continue on both it leads me to the app store page rather than the actual app
