Profile Banner
The default profile menu looks boring, with only different shades of grey and really the only thing customizable in it is the custom status and the profile picture. I'm thinking that by adding a customizable profile banner, something that could be overlayed under the username, tag, pfp, custom status, and badges, Discord profiles could look more exciting and it allows people to show themselves more. The profile banner could be placed over the dark grey top. Personally, having this be accessible to all members is better than only having it be accessible to Nitro users. The image below would be how it could look like (Sorry for the bad edit, I hope you can still see what I'm trying to get at)
The background text (tag, custom status, etc) can change color from black or white depending on the color of the banner, something like what the quick role menu does, where hovering your mouse over a bright role color will have the X icon for removing roles to be black, and how a darkly-colored role (grey/black) has the X icon be white.

I agree with this idea of a banner!

is also an amazing idea in my opinion... This sould be added to discord! Hopefully this gets added to discord!

I'd personally say banners should be a Nitro Classic+ feature.
If you think about it, servers only get banners once they're boost level 15+, so my thought for this would be to keep it rare, to something like this:
• Static banners (png/jpg) for Nitro Classic users
• Static & animated banners for Nitro users
I'm sure non-nitro users would disagree with me on this one, but to us who pay for Nitro, it gives us one more neat feature, that makes Nitro worth buying. You could even alter it so you would have to be Nitro (non-classic) user to even have a banner, so there's a bigger difference between Nitro & Nitro Classic.

I've been advocating for this for a while now and I'm glad someone's getting it out there. Great idea.
I'd really help with the personalization of one's account (and maybe set a few memes on there occasionally!)
Although I can't help but say that the picture taking up the full profile is a little hard on the eyes, maybe have a cropped section for the name and avatar all on its own? Similar to something I've made here.

Discord would use more resource and more RAM because of all the banners people going to put though. If they can somehow optimize that, this suggestion would really look cool. But I don't think so.

I think it is the best thing discord could do for customization, but I would keep it for Nitro users. Including Nitro classic (as I will purchase nitro classic this week).
I still want people to support this amazing platform. Keep up the good job.👍👊💪

They should allow users without nitro put pictures in the banner and gifs + more with nitro just like they do with pfps (or both without nitro i don't mind either of the options )

I would say that if non - nitro users can put banners, it should only be a normal pic, but nitro users can also put Gifs. It would be more coherent.
