discord app corrupting on win 10

when i tried to open my discord today it said the item update.exe that this shortcut refers to has been moved or changed  so i tried opening discord.exe and there was a black screen on the app and nothing happened     so i tried reinstalling it but it didnt let me

    Hi LULU1422,

    If the problem occurs exactly when update.exe and discord.exe are open, Discord stick to on a black screen and update.exe does not close, try follow these step;

    With discord.exe and update.exe open, view the discord.exe window in full screen and only focus there for a few minutes, do not do anything on other tabs. Note that discord.exe is in full screen on the screen and you need to focus there.
