Scrolling malfunction
I'm using the web client on Firefox 81.0 on Linux, and when I read through a large backlog of new messages in chat, as I'm scrolling down, the client sometimes suddenly moves several pages down, and I have to scroll back up and find where I was. I assume this is related to the dynamic loading of another chunk of text in the background, but it really should manage to keep viewing the same area during an operation like that.

This also happens when using the standalone client on Windows. If several paragraphs of text are selected, expanding the selection by an additional paragraph causes the scrollbar gremlin to repopulate the frame content, so the entire selection gets deselected.
No doubt it is much easier to just hook standard OS widgets than it is to implement your own DIY mischievous scrollbar doppelgängers.
