Why is the android discord making cerlular heat up?

Recently I have been calling a lot on the cell phone discord and I realized that my cell phone was overheating, something that had never happened to me, Can anyone on the discord team find out what makes this happen?

  I have exactly the same problem. My phone is an Asus ROG phone and it overheats so much when I open the discord app omg.
