Discord should have a LITE version OR LITE Mode

I want to say that a LITE Version of Discord will be a great addition. I have some friends using Mumble and Teamspeak, Whenever i ask them why?, they always say that Discord is really RAM-Consuming which makes their PC and Games Lag.

Some suggestions to make a lite version:

  • Removing some useless features (Features that are not used by most people and are RAM Consuming) in the LITE version.
  • Coding the client in a different language, I don't know if that makes sense but Minecraft Java Edition (Coded in Java) uses a lots of resources whereas The Bedrock Edition (Coded in C++) can even run without issues on 1GB of Ram (I have tested that).

Making of LITE Mode in current Discord client

Well, A LITE mode edition will also be a great thing, which will allow user to disable somethings, or enable some optimization features to improve performance. Addition of some "Optimization" features in the Client. etc.

 

P.S: Discord sometimes consumes a ridiculous amount of RAM. Specially when in VC, or watching Stream OR sometimes even without anything. Either there should be a LITE Version or Optimization of this Version.

    I also have problems with that, I have tried everything but I can almost only use discord without any open application because I hear badly, I would say add some option in discord a lite version or optimize the version that they already have so more people can use the application and not resort to other

    Ask if the development team has considered releasing the slope version on mobile platforms to reach a wider audience.
