Disable Stickers from automatically replacing the Emote button on iOS
Currently, when the Discord client contextually detects certain phrases ("haha" for example) it will change the Emote button into a Stickers button. Clicking it takes you to the Stickers tab instead of the Emote tab.
This needs to be able to be disabled.
When Stickers takes over the button, I have no one-click access to the large assortment of emotes that I specifically bought Nitro to access. The iOS interface already jumps around way too much with the text entry bar shifting sizes, and the send button appearing and disappearing; this does NOT help.

yeah. the sticker stuff on mobile is really bad. most people probably aren’t aware of it yet because it’s a Canada only soft launch, but I assume they’ll get a lot of negative feedback when it rolls out. having flashing and moving animations that can’t be turned off next to the textbox is actively harmful to people with sensory processing issues, like myself. it gives me a headache and makes me feel unwell really quickly. it sucks a lot and is a serious accessibility issue. it would be cool if using the app didn’t make me feel like the devs hate neurodiverse people but whatever
anyway, I found a solution. since this is a Canada only softlaunch, get a VPN and change your location to anywhere else that isn’t Canada, close and reopen the app, and it stops. it’s, a temporary solution really, but it’s something. if it’s not addressed before it rolls out I’ll find other workarounds3 -
I hate it so much. I didn't realize it was a Canada only thing though, so thank you for the temporary fix.
