Error: Cannot find module "discord_desktop_core"

Hi, when i start my discord say this

and i reinstall discord 4 times and still with the same error.

  still no fix that I have found, I resorted to using discord in the browser so I guess its fine.

  in my version 1.0.9002 in my Laptop windows 10, find the SquirrelTemp in start menu search for %LocallAppData% then open folder then cut it and paste it in C drive then install first the 7 zip then extract in Discord-1.0.9002-full , click lib then click net45,  click resources then open build_info in notepad then change version 1.0.9002 to 0.0.306 and save. After that in start menu search for %appdata% then open folder then click discord then click modules then edit and replace 1.0.9002 to 0.0.306 then click replace all then save. Thank me later

  If nothing has worked for you, i think this might help you
  
  -Delete everything associated to Discord in appdata 
  -Download the Discord installer
  -Activate safe mode with networking
  -Install it
  -Reboot to quit safe mode
  -Now go and play with your friends if you have any

   hey so, i found a fix (for now i'm still contacting discord) but don't worry if the icon doesnt show up after u do this, download 7zip or whatever and extract discord setup to discordsetup folder and open that, extract discord null file and open that after u extracted it, click on lib, net45, resources, and edit build info, so what u do now is change the 1.0.9000 file or something to 0.0.308let me know if it works for you!

  ri2valid.  thanks. i can't install discord with already running java script error. so i use 7-zip and extract discord folder then try discord.exe. but another java script error "cannot find moudule discord desktop core"

  but your soultion is perfect for my situation. it worked. thanks :)
