Ability to mute specific individuals on a server

Sometimes you’re on a server with friends and there is that one person who is always talking about random things, causing useless pings. It is not always possible to mute the entire channel because there are often times important messages on there. The ability to mute specific individuals on a server seems like it should already be a feature on discord.
