Mobile App- Voice Call "False Button"

When trying to join a call on my Discord app, I am unable to join a voice call. I can press the button to join but it never goes through. I am able to join calls on my laptop, however. A member of a server I mod on is able to join calls on their own server, but not on ours. They have described it as a "false button". I've heard this is kind of a common problem on Discord, is there anything we can do to fix this bug?
