Can't select input/output device

My discord mic and headset aren't working an i know why. They're not selected in the voice and video settings however for me that option is 'greyed out' and doesn't let me select anything. I dunno how to fix this and help would be appreciated.

  I'm with the same problem but in the Android app, even the operational system can't make available to switch microphone and headset
