Adding an image carousel/album option

At the moment, if a user posts multiple images, they all appear in a vertical row seen as individual messages.

This can clutter a chat very quickly and people don't like it too much.

Would there be an option to add multiple pictures to one single message, almost like a carousel or an album post?
Instead of several images being underneath each other vertically, it would be one post horizontally and people can click through those images. 

Would save a lot of screen space as well and keep the discord channels clean.
