    I do not have "share" on my Discord context/long tap menu... Closest is Copy Message.  That will get the message contents elsewhere, but won't link people into this server/channel to view the post (which is what I can do with the desktop Discord).

    Link to Screenshot included.

    I had a chat w someone on the Discord Townhall server re this "Copy Message Link" or "Share" not being on my context/Long-click menu.

    This other person had one of these (Copy or Share) on his menu, but own versions of Discord were completely different.

    He was on Android 10, Discord 49.13 (1340).

    I'm on Android 8.1, Discord  48.17 (1341).

    Are Discord versions limited by Android version??

    If I manage to upgrade my Android version, will I get a newer version of Discord available?

    A friend of mine on iPhone XS, his Discord has the "Copy" on the menu.

    I came across this post when researching the problem for myself. I also came across an outdated Support article for making it so you can share message ID (not link) -- intended for bot developers. Well, I enabled Developer Mode anyway, per that support article, and lo! the Share option appeared!

    To enabled Developer mode on android:
    * Tap your user image in the bottom right corner to open settings
    * Tap Behavior
    * Toggle "Developer mode" On.
    * Go long-press on a message
    * Marvel that "Share" is now there
    * Wonder why Discord thinks that only Bot Developers ever want to Share Message Links.
    * Question the sanity of the human race
    * Despair.

    Yep that's made copy message link available to me (Android 11). Weirdly though when I click on any message link on my (Android) phone it only links to the channel, not the actual message. The same message link on my desktop or on iOS links to the actual message. Seems like discord could really do with fixing message links on Android...

    I've just sorted this problem out, Go to Settings>Behavior>Enable developer mode. Now you can long press messages and copy ID etc.
