Requesting bot Feature - Add the permission for bots to edit other users messages for censoring

Hey ho,
I have the following problem at the moment. I want to let an bot filter my chat for bad words. The only option I have at the moment to let the bot censor the chat is by letting the bot delete the messages of the user.

But I would like to add a feature to my bot so that a spoiler gets set over the bad word by the bot. So if there are some false hits of the filtering the user could still read the message even if it is a false hit.

This is why I would like to request a permission for bots to edit user messages.

    It's obvious how this could be misused. Discord will never let you put words in others mouths.

    But here's what you can do -
    -have the bot store the message
    - Delete original msg
    - Send censored msg with with a webhook, using the original senders pfp and name.
