User specific nicknames

The sever nickname system is neat. However, it can still be difficult to find a friend who may have changed their name in your friends list. A way to create nicknames for users in your friends list would be very helpful in telling users apart and keeping track of friends who change their names often. A system like this already exists in Steam’s friend system where users can be given unique nicknames.
