Touch to return to Discord

Anytime I enter an app after discord (and now even with turning my phone on and not using discord) I see the following text displayed at the top left hand part of my iPhone (just updated iphone to latest firmware last week). “Touch to return to Discord”. This text is displayed with no option to actually go back to discord, and it last on top of my network providers service tower and wifi signal icons.
