Index special characters such as full stops in the Search Bar

Hello, I'm trying to search for special characters in the search box but it shows up with nothing when there are messages with special letters only, I reported this as a bug but it got denied because apparently it isn't? And they told me to go here.

  But you see, this feature would make sense. And we all know sensical features aren't part of the devs wants.
