Unable to deafen myself without also getting muted

wake me up

i used to be able to deafen myself and keep using the mic, but suddenly something changed and every time i deafen myself in a voice chat it automatically mutes me. Is it a bug or is it supposed to work like that and why? it was a very useful function for me

    When you server deafen yourself you can still speak.
