No Windows Desktop UI after Update

Today Discord decided to do an Update. 
After that my discord UI on windows (not the web-version) decided to not load. 
- Tried killing tab
- Tried execute as admin
- Tried restarting PC
- Tried reinstalling
- Tried windows eventviewer (win+r eventvwr) => no errors. 
System is windows10,
CPU i7-8700k,
GTX 1080ti,
ASRock Z370 Extreme 4
16GB DDR4 RAM

    had the same problem. Not fun. this site is hard enough to navigate when new without have a blank page the rest ofthe day after update.
